Valentines Menu 2010

 

Available on the Evenings of Friday 12th, Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th February 2010

 

A refreshing glass of chilled sparkling rose wine

(125ml glass of Marques de Monistrol Vintage Rose Cava Brut 2006)

 

Roasted red pepper and basil soup served with garlic croutons

 

Smoked Salmon and prawn marie rose cornets on mixed leaves

 

Caramalised Onion and Goats Cheese tartlet on mixed leaves

 with a pesto dressing

 

Vietnamese Spring rolls filled with pork, chicken, ‘seaweed’ and vermicelli noodles and served with a sweet chilli dipping sauce

 

Pheasant and pink peppercorn pate served with cucumber pickle and fingers of hot toast

 

 

Breast of Chicken Cordon Bleu with a Ham Cheese and tarragon filling,

served with a mushroom sauce

 

Fillet of Salmon on sauted leeks and fennel served with a lemon and herb sauce

 

Medallions of Pork fillet with a sauce of cherry tomatoes, mushrooms, onions, garlic, basil and a hint of chilli and balsamic

 

Roast Breast of Duck with a caramalised Clementine and brandy sauce

 

Wild Mushroom Risotto finished with rocket pesto and parmesan shavings
